Lindner Prater Limited recognises that modern slavery and human trafficking is a hidden crime that affects communities and individuals across the globe and results in an abhorrent abuse of human rights. This statement is in accordance with Section 54, Part 6 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, and sets out Lindner Prater’s intentions in relation to ensuring slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in its business or supply chain.

Our Business - Lindner Prater is the UK’s leading specialist building envelope contractor, a single source supplier providing complete solutions from design and planning to manufacture and installation. Lindner Prater Ltd is part of the Lindner Group. Lindner Prater’s business operations are solely within the United Kingdom. We have a number of UK regional offices to best meet the need of our clients and we employ around 280 people directly and engage with a further 170 subcontract workers across the UK. We have a current annual turnover of £93 million (as of end 2022).

Our policy on Slavery and Human Trafficking

This statement reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships, and to ensuring that effective systems are in place to prevent slavery and human trafficking taking place anywhere in our supply chains. We have a zero tolerance approach, and are fully committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking in our business activities.

We expect a high level of ethical conduct from those organisations with whom we conduct business and we expect our employees to report any concerns, and for our Senior Management Team to act upon them.

The relationship with the majority of our suppliers has been established over many years. Our client relationships are built on a philosophy of total dedication and collaboration. All new supply chain partners have to undergo a rigorous approval process. All new and existing partners are expected to comply with Lindner Prater’s values and policies in this regard.

Policy application:

  • All supply chain partners are required to have their own anti-slavery and human trafficking policy, or at the very least, agree to comply with Lindner Prater’s.
  • Lindner Prater conduct right-to-work checks of their workforce in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006, and expect all suppliers and sub-contractors to do the same. This is reinforced for site operatives whilst attending a site induction.
  • The requirements in regard to modern slavery are set out in the terms and conditions of every subcontract and supplier Order. All supply chain partners are expected to report any breach immediately.
  • Lindner Prater will operate an ongoing training and awareness programme to ensure its employees and supply chain partners have the highest level of understanding of the risks associated with modern slavery and human trafficking.
  • Lindner Prater will seek to review and improve its procedures to ensure the risks are kept to the lowest possible levels.

This Anti-Slavery policy is fully approved by the Lindner Prater Board of Directors and is available on our company document management system, and on our website.
